Why a saved image ends in .webp
Most websites serve their images as WebP, so a picture you save from one often ends in .webp. Plenty of upload forms, older editing apps and print shops still won't take it.

Questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Your browser converts them on this device. They aren't sent to Luala or anywhere else.
What happens to see-through parts?
A JPG can't be see-through, so they turn white. To keep them, convert to PNG on the Convert image page.
What about an animated WebP?
You get its first frame as a still JPG.
Can I drop other formats here too?
Yes. A PNG, GIF or iPhone HEIC comes back as a JPG as well.
How many can I convert at once?
As many as you choose. They're converted one after another, and once two are done you can download them all as one zip.
